Wow, it's been so long since I've been in DeviantArt.
I started crocheting, and am trying to get back into drawing as well. Because of that I moved and cleaned off my desk, effectively turning it into a craft space and managed to lose my sheet of paper full of my passwords.
It's snowing and cold outside, but Kane seems to love gazing at it as if he's on an alien planet.

Wow..
It's been so long since I've been on.
My baby boy is absolute perfection.
I adore him to pieces.
He's over thirteen pounds,
twenty-two and a half inches.
He's gotten so large in just nine weeks.
But me.
I haven't had much time.
Home life has been rough.
But I have Kane.
I feel as if the world could be falling apart,
but as long as I have him it'll be alright.
I'll find a way.
I'm going to go back to school:
Get that accounting degree I used to talk about.
The only problem..
Full-time student, full-time mom and at Least part-time employee...
Where's Any time for me?
I don't require much time to myself,
only a few hours to read, play video games or to sleep on my tummy.
At least I still have a job;
After this last week I would have thought it'd be gone.
Lucky for me, my direct supervisor likes me.
She speaks highly of me and for that I'm grateful.

Week 28

I went to the doctor's today for my weekly check-up.
He thinks I'll make it another week.
Meaning my body isn't quite ready to have a baby yet.
I feel conflicted on it.
I want this little human out...
But I also like silence and sleep...
I don't think I'll win this one. lol
Pyrography is going great!
I'm doing dragons and emblems for my husband...
The ones he want are so intricate and I'm just like
O.O
..okay...
I have no idea what he intends on doing with them though.
To be honest I don't know what I'm going to do with all this stuff.
It's not like I can just put each finished piece in a folder and set it on the bookshelf..
That's something I hadn't originally thought through.

I swear, I had an idea for this journal
But as soon as the page loaded I lost it.
I'll just start by saying
Thank You
to everybody who's either sent me a llama or favorite'd my work.
Especially recently,
since I haven't really gone onto many people's profiles to tell them.
As many, most, of y'all know I started Pyrography.
My husband's allowing me to do it on our kitchen table rather than the woodshop in the backyard.
This way we're still kinda hangin' out,
AND
so I'm not outside all night while he's at work.
I have a picture of my late kitty Chester at my "work station".
I've taken to calling him my Pyro-Buddy.
On the topic of cats:
When I was sanding my scratch wood out in the shop today I had a visitor.
This cute little black kitten popped on in to say hey.
I said hey, then she followed me on into the house.
She chilled out for a bit.
Refused to leave.
After nearly two hours of hanging out was able to coax her outside.
Then walked down the block where we Thought she might live.
Knocked on the door.
Yup. It was her house.
Said goodbye to the kitty and walked home.
Later this weekend though we might be getting a kitten.
Almost did last weekend, but we didn't make the deadline.
So, this weekend we get to check out the kitty.
Alright... that was more kitty filled than expected.
Oh well.
I like kitties, and puppies, and art and I'm Sleeeeeepy.

So, the husband and I have decided that we should get a weekly allowance.
We normally don't spend money on anything other than soda,
so this way we feel free to spend a little bit of it on other things.
SO... I went and did something.
I went online
Watched a bunch of videos on youtube,
Had my interest piqued
Then did a whole lot of research..
I ordered a pyrography kit.
Yup...Even though I did research I'll still call it an impulse buy.
I've already picked up and tried knitting this year..
Loved knitting, by the way. I did it as a little kid once...and as a ten year old I was awful.
I used to cross stitch, though I've wanted to pick that back up it's at my mom's house buried somewhere.
I've taken classes for: Drawing(4), ceramics (3), sculpting (1), photography (1), violin (since I was 9), and singing (2).
I've done woodworking at my grandma's farm; helped fix trucks and tractors at grandpa's house; did a teeny bit of metal working with my dad..
There are so many things I've dabbled in,
I just love learning new things.
Even if I don't actively participate in them all the time.
Pyrography is just something I have to try too.
The tools are getting in later this week and I cannot wait.
Sometimes I feel like I should try selling things,
but I wouldn't know where to start with that.
It would be nice though.
We normally don't spend money on anything other than soda,
so this way we feel free to spend a little bit of it on other things.
